When the mind is in charge

What your life looks like when your mind is in charge

If you bring something into this moment that doesn’t belong there it’s earth shattering, it’s like an earthquake.  If the flapping of the wings of the butterfly changes the weather patterns all the way across the continent in another country how much more shattering are the useless conversations people engage in?  Life is ok until people open their mouths.  People really think they are smart when they try to solve problems.  The mind makes up problems, that’s the only thing the mind is good at.  When I have an agenda for this moment my life looks like the desert; there is no abundance nor beauty because the mind sees only lack and ugliness.

A still mind is the greatest beauty there is because then you can see the beauty and abundance that’s everywhere and the perfection that’s in everything.  The outside is the reflection of the inside.  What you focus on gets strengthened.  Stillness has no problems.  Before I interact with the world I sit in stillness until all the ripples have dissipated and have no effect on me, so that the ripples of the world can’t create havoc in my life.

When the mind is still there is only beauty and abundance

Leaving yourself

We were forced to leave ourselves at an early age.  We were not allowed to put things together ourselves, things were put in place for us by society, by our parents.

People want me to carry them by using many words, by being loud and animated.

I am Stillness.  I don't have to leave myself in order to make someone else comfortable.

I thought we had a great day, my dad and I.  We went shopping and ended up at a pub for fresh zoigl (homebrewed beer).  Some of his friends were there, we had a fabulous time, but for him being around me is difficult because my stillness brings out his shit and he can't deal with it, so he blames me for it.  He keeps attacking me relentlessly and projects himself onto me.  He tells me that I am extremely nervous and he doesn't know what to say to me, and on and on.

I don't know how much longer I have to stay there.  Last week he had a dream that I am leaving him.  I hope it's soon.

Labor of Love?

This isn't necessary

The moment won't move, so you move your mind because you hate the stillness; like a boulder up a steep hill, you push and push and you wonder why you are exhausted.  You blame your exhaustion on your life circumstances, on your age, on all the things that need to get done.  Everything is done.  Everything is whole but your mental illness won't let you see it.

You keep taking things apart so you can fix them.  Everything is whole, everything is done.  Don't let your mind pull you into the world of illusion.

The power of stillness

The mind has one story only and that is hardship.  Reality is gentle.  The hardest part is letting go of illusion.  The time in between when illusion leaves and reality shows up, the mind has a hay day with the time in between.  If it were easy we all would have left illusion already.

There is a reason why 99.99% is stillness and only .01% is action.  Because the .01% action is all you can handle, it is that explosive and powerful.  Stillness increases our capacity to be powerful.

We are not used to not doing.  Doing is all we know.  Its been drilled into us.  Most the time nothing is happening and you are looking at the daisies because our nervous system goes through powerful preparations.

When you are in your body you are automatically connected to the present. You have no agenda and the next moment isn't even on your mind.

Stillness

The universe is stillness.  People fill this stillness with their activities thinking that they are mandatory.  No one is forcing anything on you.  Your misconceptions about how things work are running your life.

STOP

Just stop what you are doing.  Illusions will fall away and reality will present itself.  Illusion will keep you busy and up to your neck in problems.  Illusion requires maintenance, reality is presence.

If you want your life to work you have to enter into the stillness.

Teaching without saying anything

There is more space in my life.  My mind used to keep me busy and nothing was ever accomplished.  I was always planning and I was never present.

I met a hardcore saleswoman today.  There are no spaces in her life.  She has the patriarchal mind mentality where more is best.   She didn't even hear me.  She talked at me instead of to me.  To her I didn't exist, only the tape recording in her head.

The universe orchestrates everything.  Now I get to do my sales job without expectation and without doing anything.
The Tao Te Ching
3.  Practice not-doing, and everything will fall into place.

2.  Therefore the Master acts without doing anything and teaches without saying anything.
She has but doesn't possess, acts but doesn't expect.
When her work is done, she forgets it.  That is why it lasts forever.

47.  The Master achieves without doing a thing.
63.  Act without doing; work without effort.

The Tao Te Ching translated by S. Mitchell

Stillness

Society wants me to behave like a dog in heat, out of control, always running. With the introduction of cell phones even more so.   Society is into speed.  They are fast but not vast.  Their fastness slows them down, whereas their vastness would speed them up.

With cell phones people can talk about their problems anytime, anyplace with their friends.  Stillness is a creative power.  Everything is energy.  The moment I speak this vast energy becomes dense and I now have created a problem for myself and it has to show up in my life.  I have made it real.  When people keep discussing their problems they are not solving anything, they are putting a boat anchor on it thus anchoring it into their lives.  Just be still and it will resolve itself because you are not giving it a chance to show up in the physical.

The truth about the mind

The mind is trained to make up problems and than solve them, keeping you forever stuck in your head.  When you walk down the stairs you cannot fix breakfast and when you are sitting at the table you cannot shop for groceries.  Yet, your body sits at the table but in your head you are doing the grocery shopping.  You are always thinking about what needs to be done.  Such waste of energy.

Stillness aligns me with what is supposed to show up, it is a creative force.  When we talk about what is going to happen we change the energy, make it more dense, which makes it extremely difficult to move this dense energy.  When we are still the energy is fluid and things happen in an instant.

When we prepare we slow down the process and prepare for the wrong thing, for something the mind thinks needs to be prepared for.

People are blindly turning their lives over to their minds.  You have no idea of the consequences.   This knowledge comes through awareness and experience.  Instead of listening to your mind observe your body.  The body is always in the present moment and knows what needs to be done.  The body is intelligent and the mind is retarded, insane, ridged.  Life is simple when the mind is not in charge.
