Observing vs. meddling

Life is like a board game.  When you meddle you get to repeat the experience.  When you observe you get to advance to the next phase.

I have been living at my ex's apartment for over 3 months.  He got married and is now living with his wife.  He is a hoarder and his stuff is still here.   We have to be out of here by the end of the month.

This is the strangest move ever.  My mind is flipping.   One more week left and they are not moving anything out of here.   Every room is filled with stuff.  My mind is expecting this to go a certain way but its not happening.  Their actions give me problems, but I won't meddle.  Now my mind is trying to figure out what's going on.  My son just left with an empty trailer to go to his dad's place.  Why didn't he load it up?   How are they going to get all this stuff out of here by the end of the month?

My conclusion:   Illusion makes sense.  Reality is insane.  In the world of illusion what appears sane is insane and what appears insane is sane.

It is so hard to observe and accept everything the way it is.  I want to meddle and know what's going on, but I won't because I am not going to repeat this experience.  So I am going to allow it to be the way it is.  I feel insane right now.  What makes you insane also makes you sane.

I have to get smaller.  I can't look at this with an agenda.  I can't give it the label 'moving'.  Moving is made up of many moments.  I can't decide what's going to happen in the next moment, nor what it should look like.  I have to allow the moment to show me what's supposed to happen.

Why I quit my job

The boss is telling me what to do.
Her mind wants to direct my body to get things done.
Not even my mind gets to direct my body.
My body directs itself.  My body is always where its supposed to be.
My mind follows my body and not the other way around.
My body feels heavy when the mind is in charge.  It won't carry illusion.

I couldn't tell them the real reason for quitting my job because they don't understand this paradox:

Do nothing and accomplish everything.  (Tao Te Ching, translated by S. Mitchell).

Society still believes that working hard is the road to success, which creates a very small world, one in which they can be in control.  In their world of illusion it is insane to do nothing and therefore they would label me insane if they knew what is driving me.

In the world of illusion that which is sane appears insane and that which is insane appears sane.  On my road to sanity I see these things and I don't get sucked into living the patriarchal way.

The force in the world of illusion is ignorance, it will sweep you away.  The force of stillness carries great wisdom.

Is your mind taking you for a ride

When your mind is in charge the consequences are brutal.  Illusion will keep you from seeing this.  The mind distorts everything.  To become sane you have to lose your mind.

What makes you insane also makes you sane

We are each others homeopathic remedy.  What makes you insane also makes you sane.   The present moment is always sane.  When you escape from it you create insanity.  There is only one upset, the loss of the present.  When it requires maintenance it is illusion.

Joy

Anything that does not look like joy should not be done.  The energy you put out always returns to you.  Not only that, on its way back it picks up speed and collects everything of like vibration, thus increasing it ten fold.  It could get quite messy.

The universe is always listening, every single thought and feeling will be delivered with precision.

And that’s why I am sweating. As always I will get rescued the last minute.  People are watching me and want to interfere with their fixed mind programming.  To them I am the one who looks insane.

In the world of illusion that which is sane appears insane and that which is insane appears sane.

The laws of the universe state that you must always experience that which you create.  So, if you suffer, don’t blame the government, your environment or your significant other.  It’s always you.

Only the mind is moving - Part II

The idea of continuity is an illusion.  We teleport from frame to frame to frame.  And one of these days we will skip frames altogether thus appearing at the place of destination without having driven there.   Our lives will become stranger yet as illusion keeps falling away.

In the world of illusion that which is sane appears insane and that which is insane appears sane.  I am mostly out of my mind, which I find is a good thing.

Our five senses are not an accurate representation of reality.  Things are not as they appear.
